In today’s world, many people are entering the corporate environment with insufficient information as to how to be successful in their careers. One strategy that companies are invoking to address this problem is the establishment of mentoring relationships between junior and more senior members of the organization.
This course equips participants with the skills and understanding necessary to be successful mentors or protégés.
The course is designed to be highly participative and to increase skills in the practical application of:

- Coaching and mentoring of employees (or being coached)
- Tradeoffs between business and personal lives
- Expectations of the particular business culture
- Understanding and sharing the culture’s unwritten rules
- Listening skills and behavioral styles
