Are You Ready?
(Module 1)

By the year 2020 women, minorities and immigrants will comprise 85% of the new entrants into the workforce. This introductory segment explores these and other demographic changes occurring in the workplace andtheir impact of productivity and quality.

Core Messages and the Personal Value System
(Module 2)

This module explores our personal values, how they were formed and their impact in our personal lives and at the workplace.

Out-Group Behavior
(Module 3)

In this segment, we examine the fact that our ability to deliver peak performance is often impacted by our environment. This is made more evident when we find ourselves in situations which are foreign to us. The destructive effect of “Out-Group Behavior” is investigated.

Stereotyping
(Module 4)

Most people stereotype. This module examines societal stereotyping and the negative impact it has on both individual and team success. Participants will explore alternative solutions to stereotyping teammates and customers.

Nonverbal Messages
(Module 5)

If we want to avoid misunderstandings in the workplace, it is very important for us to be aware of the cross-cultural nonverbal messages we send and receive. This module puts us in touch with our actions and explores better ways to communicate.

Trust Gap
(Module 6)

The trust gap is a phenomenon that can have a damaging effect of individual relationships and team cooperation. It can specifically turn a positive message into one that is received negatively. Solutions on reducing the trust gap are explored.

Reading Your Environment
(Module 7)

This module examines the unwritten requirements for achieving both individual and team success.

Managing Change
(Module 8)

In most environments, diversity means change. This module discusses the steps in dealing with personal and environmental change.

Coaching
(Module 9)

Coaching among peers is important to maximize the team’s effectiveness. The techniques of successful coaching are examined as well as how to become more receptive to feedback.

The Challenge
(Module 10)

In summarizing the highlights of the preceding nine modules, this module outlines our roles in forging a new and better American workplace. Although many of the changes will be addressed by corporations, as individuals we must carry our share of the responsibility to change as well.
